Many universities offer summer schools as an opportunity for high school students to experience university life. It also doesn’t hurt that it is a great way for students to form a bond with a university and potentially meet some of their future classmates. Obviously, in the current pandemic travel is still not really advised for such short-term study mobility. However, summer schools retain their importance, and perhaps increase their relevance, as they give students an opportunity to put universities’ claims to the test. Every university has made huge strides in its delivery of online education but which are truly the most improved? By taking part in a summer school, students will gain an understanding of what is likely to be a large component of the university experience even after restrictions are completely lifted.
